Governor’s flag order for the state Capitol building in Richmond

This is to order that the flag of the Commonwealth of Virginia is to be flown at half-staff over the state Capitol building in respect and memory of Spotsylvania County Sheriff Deputy Bryan Berger, who lost his life in the line of duty.

I hereby order that the flag shall be lowered at sunrise on Friday, May 2, 2014, and remain at half-staff until sunset.

Ordered on this, the 1st day of May, 2014.

 

Governor’s flag order for Spotsylvania County

Be it further encouraged that the flag of the Commonwealth of Virginia may be flown at half-staff on all local, state, and federal buildings and grounds in Spotsylvania County and in any other locality as deemed appropriate, in respect and memory of Spotsylvania County Sheriff Deputy Bryan Berger.

I hereby authorize that the flag shall be lowered at sunrise on Friday, May 2, 2014, and remain at half-staff until sunset.
