BEDFORD, VA – Bedford County Sheriff Mike Brown announced that the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, Virginia State Police, Bedford County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, and Maryland’s Montgomery County Police Department are jointly investigating the 1975 abduction of sisters Katherine and Shelia Lyon. Recent developments in the investigation have led law enforcement to the Taylor Mountain area of Bedford County.
