A special thank you to all sheriffs, deputies, and spouses that attended the reception with Governor McAuliffe last night at the Executive Mansion. The VSA expresses its sincere appreciation for all the courtesies shown by Governor McAuliffe and First Lady Dorothy McAuliffe.
I also appreciate the strong showing today for VSA Day at the Capitol, beginning with a visit with Lieutenant Governor Ralph Northam and then on to the Senate Finance Committee to support the courtroom security fee bill (SB 736 – Senator Howell) as well as Delegate Albo’s companion bill in the House.
