Sheriff Hines hosts 3rd annual “Civilian Response to an Active Shooter” training
On July 14 the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office once again hosted a presentation of the “Civilian Response to an Active Shooter” program. Over 200 members participated this year; over 500 citizens have attended this presentation to date.
The information presented focused on historical case studies and current best practices. This program is designed to make the people more aware of what they can do to be better prepared and develop a plan should an active shooter event occur.
The Hanover Sheriff’s Office would like to extend its sincere appreciation to all who attended and made this presentation a success. For more information about other programs, call 804-365-6110 or visit www.hanoversheriff.com.
