On September 10, 2016, more than 250 runners joined Sheriff Jim O’Sullivan and the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office for the “Freedom Run 9.11 Miles.” The event honors the victims of the September 11 terror attacks and the first responders who came to their rescue. Proceeds benefit Charities Inc. and the Fisher House. Thank you to everyone who made the event such a success.
