The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Blue Knights Motorcycle Organization Virginia Chapter 17 out of Colonial Heights, VA for providing lunch to deputies on two separate occasions last week. The Blue Knights brought lunch to the deputies at the courthouses on Monday and to the deputies at the jail on Thursday. These Blue Knights are comprised of active and retired members of law enforcement agencies within the Tri-Cities area. They participate in many charity events, including the annual Teddy Bear Run and Special Olympics Virginia. They also provide assistance to law enforcement officers and their families in times of need.
