Suffolk deputies showcase ‘Project Child Safe’

The Suffolk Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the staff of the College Drive Walmart for allowing deputies to showcase the Project Child Safe gun lock program as well as several other community engagement initiatives that the office offers while partnering with the community, including a back to school supply drive. Walmart customers and staff donated an abundance of school supplies which were delivered to the students at Mack Benn Elementary School. The students were excited and gave deputies a special thank you when they arrived.
