Community thanks Chesapeake deputies for hurricane response

2016-chesapeake-so-appreciation-lunchEarlier this week, several Deep Creek community groups in Chesapeake hosted a lunch thanking the city’s public safety crews for their hard work before, during and after Hurricane Matthew. Sheriff Jim O’Sullivan and Police Chief Kelvin Wright served fried chicken, barbecue and pie to crews from the Sheriff’s Office, Police Department, Fire Department and Public Works. Special thanks to Lawrence Pharmacy and the Lake Wright Masonic Lodge for hosting the event.
