Hampton deputies volunteer for Salvation Army

Hampton Lieutenant D. Crudup receives a donation from a young patron.

Hampton deputies showed their support of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign in December as they volunteered to staff a ten hour shift at the Walmart Superstore in Hampton. Deputies rang the bell while receiving donations for funds the Salvation Army collects each year to aid needy families, seniors, and the homeless. Donations also provide Christmas dinners, clothing, and toys for families in need. Patrons voiced the highest praise and were more than happy to donate to such a worthy cause at the busy shopping outlet.
