Chesapeake sheriff, deputies raise take ‘Polar Plunge’ for Special Olympics Virginia

Sheriff Jim O’Sullivan and the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office raised $5,000 for Special Olympics Virginia last weekend. ‘Team O’Sullivan’ took the plunge and dived into the 38 degree water. Sheriff O’Sullivan is a passionate supporter of the Special Olympics. Between ‘Dancing With the Athletes,’ the ‘Dulles Plane Pull,’ the ‘Torch Run’ and the ‘Polar Plunge,’ the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office raises money for Special Olympics Virginia throughout the year.
