Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office helps honor disabled American veterans

The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office had the privilege last Thursday to be with, and in some cases serve lunch to, disabled veterans from McGuire VA Hospital. This event took place at Keystone Antique Truck & Tractor Museum in Colonial Heights. A special thanks goes to Mr. Keith Jones from Abilene Trucking Company for hosting this event for the eighth year. Many of the deputy sheriffs who attended are veterans of military service. If you are interested in volunteering your time with these disabled veterans, you can contact Mr. Gerald Westry at 804-675-5000 ext. 4989.
