Sheriff Karl Leonard participates in Fourteenth Annual CARITAS Celebrity Serve Dinner

Sheriff Karl Leonard was one of the many celebrity servers for the Fourteenth Annual CARITAS Celebrity Serve Dinner at Siné Irish Pub & Restaurant in Richmond. This is a fundraising event in which local celebrities and dignitaries volunteer their time to act as wait staff, all in the spirit of supporting a great cause. The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office has a continued partnership with The Healing Place, a 214-bed residential recovery facility that provides a pathway to recovery for individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. The Healing Place is a part of the CARITAS organization, and the Chesterfield County Jail has enrolled several members of its HARP program in this facility. CARITAS helps break the cycles of homelessness and addiction in the Metro Richmond area, so that people can lead stable lives. To learn more, please visit http://caritasva.org/.
