Chesterfield County deputies show high school students the dangers of distracted driving

The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office recently assisted with the Drive Smart Virginia Interactive Safety Program at Midlothian High School. The program highlights the dangers of distracted driving and texting while driving. Students experienced the ‘Driving While Texting’ simulator and maneuvering obstacles in fatal vision goggles. The students took away some valuable lessons from these activities.
