Chesterfield County sergeant receives Optimist International law enforcement award

Recently, Sergeant Rodney Phillips of the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office Community Outreach Unit was presented with an award from Optimist International, a worldwide volunteer organization made up of more than 2,500 local clubs whose members work each day to make the future brighter by bringing out the best in children, in their communities, and in themselves. Sergeant Phillips was recognized by the Zone 2 Optimist Clubs for his distinguished and dedicated service that he provides daily to the community.
