The Arlington County Sheriff’s Office raised $3,000 as part of No-Shave November, an annual event to grow cancer awareness and raise funds for cancer prevention, research and education. In all, 58 sheriff’s office employees gave up shaving for the entire month of November and pledged to donate the money they would have spent on shaving supplies to the Virginia Hospital Center Foundation. Sheriff Arthur presented the group’s donation on December 1 in front of the Arlington County Courthouse.
