Sandy Ridge Baptist Church hosted a Church Security Discussion recently. Sgt. J. P. Nolen spoke with the church leadership in attendance about our current national issues in this area. Nolen said, “It is important that we visit our local churches and discuss security from the outside and inside of these buildings. We talk about being alert, attentive and for leadership to formulate a plan that includes not forgetting to show the love of Christ along the way, while having a mind set of safety.” The Sheriff’s Office thanks the Sandy Ridge team for inviting us to visit them.
