On Tuesday, March 20, 2018, Colonel Gary T. Settle, newly appointed Superintendent of the Virginia State Police and First Division Captain Steve Chumley joined local law enforcement officials for a Regional Law Enforcement Command Meeting at the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office. The meeting focused on matters related to law enforcement as well as reaffirming the commitment to work together in order to better serve our respective communities.
Scheduling this meeting and coming together as law enforcement professionals was a priority to not only welcome Colonel Settle, but to keep an open line of communication and dialogue concerning law enforcement issues and operations. We must continuously work as partners in order to handle the complex issues we face today. A special thank you to all that attended.
