Arlington County Deputies Awarded CIT Deputy of the Year & CIT Deputy Intervention of the Year Awards

On Wednesday, April 4th, the Arlington County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Arlington
County Police Department, Ready Arlington, and the Arlington Virginia Department of Health gathered to recognize Arlington County’s public safety personnel who utilized their crisis intervention training skills to work safely and effectively with people suffering from mental health crisis. Congratulations to CIT Intervention of the Year recipient, Deputy Diamond Anderson and CIT Deputy of the Year, Sargent William O’Neill .
