Special Olympian Chad Allen carried the “flame of hope” and led the way along with the members of the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office, Chesapeake Police Department and representatives from Macy’s running 3.8 miles from the WAWA on Woodlake Drive to the WAWA on Kempsville Road. The Law Enforcement Torch Run spreads awareness and raises money for Special Olympics Virginia by teaming up special Olympic and with law enforcement officers for a unified run.
