Sheriff Vanessa R. Crawford Receives Magnus Leadership Award
Sheriff Vanessa R. Crawford recently attended the National Sheriff’s Association in New Orleans where she was awarded the Magnus Leadership Award from the National Command & Staff College and the Criminal Justice Commission for Credible Leadership Development. The National Command & Staff College (NCSC) for Law Enforcement and Corrections is a blended learning program designed to prepare today’s policing leaders to succeed in an ever- changing professional environment, and to effectively meet the challenges of the future. This award was presented to Sheriff Crawford in recognition of her tireless work implementing bold initiatives that have created synergy and trust between the citizens of her agency and the community.
