Update – Virginia Sheriffs’ Association Changes Conference Plans to Accommodate Hurricane Florence

According to the National Hurricane Center, the most likely time for tropical storm winds to hit Virginia Beach is sometime Thursday morning.

Accordingly, the VSA Conference will begin as usual on Tuesday with the Presidents reception and conclude late Thursday morning, after the installation of officers, awards ceremonies and lunch. Please see an updated agenda HERE.

As reported on Sunday, “Sheriffs Night” is moved to Wednesday night and the VSA board meeting will be held after the session on Wednesday.

We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust the program accordingly.  Below is the current projection for the storm.
