Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office hosts last community cook-out of the summer

On Saturday, September 22, 2018, Sheriff Jim O’Sullivan and the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office held their final community cookout for the summer. Sheriff O’Sullivan, deputies and civilians spent the afternoon cooking out with residents from the Fentress area of Chesapeake. Deputies grilled and served the food, as a DJ played music, and Captain D. Rosado (aka “Magic Dave”) performed a live magic show for the children. Every year, Sheriff Jim O’Sullivan hosts these cookouts in communities across Chesapeake to help build stronger relationships between law enforcement officers and residents.
