FAMILY FUN NIGHT AT FARMERS MARKET

On Monday, September 24, 2018, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office participated in the Family Fun Night held at the Farmers’ Market. Deputy H. L. Nolen and Diversion Specialist/CHINS Case Manager for the Office of the Sheriff, Deidre Dalton, were on hand to interact with the families. Coloring books and items for the children, plus helpful brochures and gift items were given to the parents. Deputy Nolen said, “We had a great time and the organizers did a wonderful job putting together this family interactive event.”

FRANKLIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE VISITS STEP, INC

On Tuesday, September 11, 2018, Lt. Ken Holland stopped in at STEP, Inc to read to one of the classes. The Office of the Sheriff makes every attempt to interact with our children in Franklin County whenever possible. The youngsters loved Lt. Holland coming by and reading a couple of books to them. Holland said, “They are really becoming more attentive each visit.”
