We send our deepest condolences to the family and friends, as well as the Hanover County EMS-Fire community, in the loss of Lt. Brad Clark from Station 6 in the line of duty.  During the events of Hurricane Michael, Hanover County Fire-EMS were on the scene of an accident when a tractor trailer struck the engine.  Unfortunately, a total of three Fire and EMS personnel were injured in the crash with one of them succumbing to their injuries at the scene. Two were transported with serious injuries sustained at the scene from the crash. The driver of the tractor had to be extricated from the cab of the truck and was transported for treatment with serious injuries.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hanover Firefighters and EMS personnel injured in this accident and with the family of Lt. Brad Clark during this time.  The official release from Hanover County Fire-EMS may be read HERE.
