Sheriff Weaver contacted Madison County Public School Superintendent to ask for approval to install mailboxes at Waverly Yowell, Wetsel Middle School and the Madison County High School as a “Help Box”.

“For students that might not feel comfortable approaching an officer face to face, this will be a confidential way of seeking help.  We want them to know that it is ok to ask for help,” stated Sheriff Weaver.

Sheriff Weaver’s office anticipates having all 3 mailboxes installed before the students return from the holiday break.

Sheriff Weaver would like to thank LS Industries, Inc. of Pratts for fabricating and donating the mailboxes to the Sheriff’s Office and the Madison County Public Schools.
