VSA President King George County Sheriff Steve Dempsey Honored for Lifetime of Public Service

Delegate Margaret Ransone presented House Joint Resolution No. 725 to Sheriff Steve Dempsey as a commendation for his lifetime of public service as a law enforcement officer. Sheriff Dempsey, who is retiring at the end of the year, was surprised with this honor at the Sheriff’s Office recently. Those in attendance included Senator Ryan McDougle, Clarence “Moose” Dobson, King George County personnel and area Sheriffs.
