SHERIFF’S OFFICE PARTICIPATES IN MEMORIAL SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

The 15th Annual Fallen Officers Memorial Softball Tournament was held in Christiansburg the weekend of August 17-18.  Hosted by the Christiansburg Police Department each year, this tournament draws teams from all over the state of Virginia and raises money towards assisting officer’s families where the need arises. Franklin County Sheriff’s Office finished in 3rd place this year, behind Greene County/Central Virginia and Radford City PD. Thanks to Chief Sisson and all those who helped make this tournament a huge success.
