Richmond City Sheriff office announces Safe Exchange Zone

The Richmond City Sheriff’s Office has established a “Safe Exchange Zone” in the front parking lot of the Richmond City Justice Center. It is marked as the designated light blue reserved parking space with a sign indicating “Safe Exchange” Zone.” Sheriff Antionette V. Irving says, “this provides an opportunity for the community to safely conduct child custody, visitation drop offs, property, or commerce exchange.” This designated zone will help protect the public against fraudulent or criminal acts.
