Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office Deputies Deliver Turkeys

The Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office hoped to make the Thanksgiving holiday a little brighter. On Tuesday, November 26, 2019, deputies delivered dozens of 12-pound turkeys to shelters, churches, and seniors in need. The Chesapeake Regional Medical Center donated the turkeys. Sheriff Jim O’Sullivan said he hoped the turkey deliveries helped families and communities across Chesapeake have a happy holiday weekend. After Thanksgiving, Chesapeake deputy sheriffs will hit the road again-delivering holiday baskets, collard greens, and Walmart gift cards to 100 seniors in need.
