The Virginia Sheriffs’ Association joins the Hampton Sheriff’s Office in mourning the loss of one of its own, Deputy Nataniel Robinson who passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2020.

The twenty-three year old was a three year veteran of the Hampton Sheriff’s Office assigned to the Corrections Division. Deputy Robinson was a 2017 graduate of the Hampton Roads Criminal Justice Training Academy, Class 17 -3. He was a proud member of the Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team (S.E.R.T.), and a Project Lifesaver Search and Rescue technician. Nataniel, known for his captivating smile and sense of humor, volunteered much of his time representing the Hampton Sheriff’s Office in numerous community activities. Deputy Robinson was highly respected and loved by many. His memory will live in our hearts forever.

A viewing will be held on Friday, March 13th from 6:00 pm -8:00 pm at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Drive, Hampton, VA 23666.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14th at 11:00 am at the Refuge Nation Church, 3509 Chestnut Avenue, Newport News, VA.
