Virginia Sheriffs’ Association congratulates Sheriff Hank Partin, of Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, on his recent appointment to the Virginia Parole Board. Sheriff Hank Partin started his law enforcement career in 1987 and has served in the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office since December 1993.  The Board’s mission is to grant parole or conditional release to those inmates whose release is compatible with public safety. Other newly appointed members of the Virginia Parole Board include Chairman Chadwick Dotson, Cheryl Nici-O’Connell, Carmen Williams, and Tracy Banks.
