The Virginia Sheriffs’ Association sends its condolences to the City of Covington Police Department on the shooting of a City of Covington police officer. The Virginia State Police, City of Covington Police Department and Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
The funeral for Officer Caleb Ogilvie will be Saturday, March 19th at 12:00 pm. It will be held at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, 1000 Dabney Dr., Clifton Forge, VA.
