Governor Glenn Youngkin meets with Virginia Sheriffs’ Association to discuss facial recognition legislation

Sheriffs met with Governor Glenn Youngkin on Wednesday to discuss SB 741 relating to facial recognition. Sheriff Josh A. Wyche Sr., Southampton County, Sheriff Arthur Townsend, Lunenburg County, and Sheriff Kevin Hall, Alleghany County and the City of Covington (President of VSA), met and discussed the importance of facial recognition technology to encourage the Governor to sign SB 741.
