The Virginia Sheriffs’ Association expresses its deepest condolences to the King William County community and to the family of former King William County Sheriff Jim Wolford who passed away November 15, 2023. Wolford dedicated 12 years as Sheriff. He was also a founding member of the Chuckatuck Fire Department, a Virginia State Trooper for 11 years, and a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
