Attorney General Jason Miyares’ office has indicated to VSA Executive Director John W. Jones that a challenge is planned to the recent troublesome FCC ruling restricting inmate communications fees.
Jones said, “This is great news that hopefully will lead to a path for sheriffs to continue to provide critical services to inmates to stay in touch with their families until their release into their respective communities.”
