The annual Arlington County Crime Solvers Award Luncheon was recently held in Arlington, VA with the theme of “Securing Our Community: Law Enforcement Response to Critical Incidents.” Arlington community members, elected officials, businesses and many more in public safety came together to recognize the commendable work of Arlington’s first responders during the N. Burlington St. response in December. Sheriff Quiroz presented the award to Lt. Foster on behalf of Corporals Ly Phan and Soliz who assisted our public safety partners that day.
While our public safety counterparts in the Arlington County Police Department and the Arlington County Fire Department were instrumental in safely resolving the N. Burlington Street incident at the risk of their own lives on December 4, 2023, two deputies from our office, Corporal Jonhnes Ly Phan and Corporal Nelson Soliz, sprang into action and supported their efforts in maintaining safety for the community.
