The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office held a graduation ceremony for members of its 40th Basic Academy on January 3, 2025. The Sheriff’s Basic Academy is not just about training — it’s about perseverance, teamwork, having a duty to serve and the passion to do it with dignity & respect. These thirteen deputies will now join a premier organization of nearly 300 men and women and start their careers at the Chesterfield County Jail. Their experience, synergy, diversity, and eagerness to serve the citizens of Chesterfield County will be readily seen in the daily performance of their duties. Congratulations to these deputies who are now a part of the law enforcement family.
