The Richmond City Sheriff’s Office is proud to partner with St. Paul’s Baptist Church, Richmond’s First Baptist Church, and the Baptist General Association of Virginia to provide mobile showers and essential resources each week at St. Paul’s Church on Belt Boulevard in South Richmond.
Now in its fourth week, the “Dignity on the Go” initiative continues to bring hope and vital support to individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship. The weekly outreach features a vibrant resource fair offering access to medical and mental health services, housing assistance, ID cards and documentation services, workforce support, veterans support, financial counseling, hygiene items, clothing, and spiritual care.
Attendees may also enjoy a hot meal, free haircuts, and meaningful conversation. They leave with a take-home bag filled with food and essential supplies. This program is a powerful reminder that dignity is a right everyone deserves.
