The LCSO Crime Victims Unit has been nationally recognized with the 2025 Crime Victim Services Award from the National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA).
The award was presented on June 25, 2025, at the NSA Annual Conference in Fort Lauderdale to Sheriff Chapman and Detective Lindsey Sayre, who represented the LCSO during the ceremony. This prestigious honor recognizes Sheriff’s Offices that demonstrate outstanding commitment to supporting crime victims through innovative programs and compassionate service.
We’re proud of our team’s continued efforts to stand with victims, and we’re especially proud of Detective Sayre for representing the work and dedication of our entire unit on the national stage.
