Starting July 1, 2025, members of Charles City County Sheriff’s Office are awarded a “poker chip” for outstanding performance. The employee with the most at the end of the year will receive a special prize.
On July 22, 2025, Investigator Zohra Anwari received a poker chip due to her outstanding performance in a multijurisdictional investigation that culminated into search warrants and arrest. Great job, Agent Z.
On July 25, 2025, Assistant Communications Officer Supervisor Shandria Bradby received a poker chip for applying and getting approved for a grant for the communications center in the amount of $150,000. Great job Asst. C/O Supervisor Bradby.
