On August 28, 2025, the King George Sheriff’s Office was alerted by an Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) that a stolen vehicle entered King George County. Deputies and detectives quickly located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The three occupants of the vehicle were found to be persons of interest in an abduction and armed robbery in the Town of Culpeper and Orange County, Va. The occupants were detained and turned over to Culpeper Police Department and Orange Sheriff’s Office.
