Governor Glenn Youngkin has appointed Bedford County Sheriff Mike Miller to the Criminal Justice Services Board (CJSB), which serves as the policymaking and grant-awarding authority for the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services.
Sheriff Miller joins VSA member sheriffs already serving on the Board, including Sheriff Jeremy Falls of Fauquier County and Sheriff Chip Shuler of Smyth County.
The VSA congratulates Sheriff Miller on this appointment and appreciates the strong representation of Virginia’s sheriffs on the CJSB as it advances public-safety priorities across the Commonwealth.
