On February 14, 2026, at approximately 8:45 pm, King George County Sheriff’s Office deputies were alerted by the FLOCK cameras of a stolen vehicle entering the county. Deputies located the vehicle on Southbound Rt 301 traveling at speeds below the speed limit. After verifying that the vehicle was in fact stolen from Newport News, the deputies attempted to stop the vehicle.
The vehicle accelerated continuing South on Rt 301 James Madison Pkwy. The fleeing vehicle reached speeds of 120mph. The vehicle began to have mechanical problems and crashed into a yard. Deputies quickly took the operator into custody who was identified as Sa’Niyah Bowles, the two passengers were transported to Mary Washington hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Bowles was charged with felony eluding, reckless by speed, reckless general (endangering life, limb, and property), reckless fail to maintain proper control/bad brakes, possession of stolen property, driving without a license and animal cruelty (there was a cat in the car).
Without the use of the FLOCK camera, the stolen vehicle would have passed through King George undetected.
