On the two-year anniversary of Sgt. Floyd Hugo Miles’ End of Watch, the Charles City County Sheriff’s Office honored his memory by presenting his family with keepsake bears crafted from the uniform shirts he wore while serving the community.
“As long as I am Sheriff, his memory will last forever as I will honor him and the sacrifices that he made for Charles City County every chance I get,” said Sheriff Jayson Crawley.
The bears, provided by Blue Line Bears, were personalized for each member of Sgt. Miles’ family. The sheriff’s office has also begun creating a memorial wall in its lobby to ensure Sgt. Miles’ dedication and sacrifice are forever remembered by the Charles City County community.
