The Charlotte County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution recently commending Captain Keith Lockridge, Jail Administrator of the Charlotte County Jail, and his staff for their recent achievements and recognized them for their commitment, hard work and professionalism. The jail received a compliance rating of 100% in January from the Virginia Department of Corrections’ (DOC) for it annual Life, Health, and Safety (LHS) unannounced inspection. This was the ninth consecutive 100% compliance rating for the Charlotte County Jail. Several staff members, on behalf of the Sheriff’s Office, were in attendance for the presentation of the resolution. Captain Lockridge would like to thank the Charlotte County Board of Supervisors and Sheriff Thomas Jones for the recognition and support that is shown to the Charlotte County Jail. Captain Lockridge would also like to extend his thanks to all the staff at the jail for their dedication and hard work.
