Dickenson County welcomes new Sheriff, G. Scott Stanley.  He was sworn in on September 1, 2018, following the retirement of former Sheriff Bobby Hammons.  Previously, Sheriff Stanley held the position of Major; he has been employed by the Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office for eighteen years.  The Virginia Sheriffs’ Association welcomes this new member to our ranks!
