Deputy Tony Loureiro stopped by Boones Mill Elementary’s Fall Festival recently. There were plenty of activities to participate in and fun things to do. Thanks to all the BMES staff for hosting this wonderful event and also to Deputy Loureiro for taking time to come by. Looking forward to next year’s event! Go Mustangs!
Crosspointe Church Holds Fall Festival
On Saturday, October 19th, CrossPointe Church in Burnt Chimney held a Fall Festival / Touch A Truck event. Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Amber Mitchell attended and reported what a great day it was. The event had several large first responder vehicles, food, and fun activities for the children. Thanks to CrossPointe for inviting us and thanks to Deputy Mitchell for being part of this great day.
Sheriff’s Office at Domestic Violence Awareness Event
Franklin County held its annual Domestic Violence Awareness Event at the Farmer’s Market on Saturday, October 19th. Our Domestic Violence Victim’s Advocate, Katrina Hancock, attended as a representative of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. Since October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the event works to raise awareness on the importance of this issue. Thanks to all who organized and participated.
