Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office’s Behavioral and Mental Health Director Kerri Rhodes and her team were recognized at the Eastern District of Virginia Public Service Awards ceremony for their extraordinary service. Their “Silent No More” program is a powerful, multi-faceted, and relatable drug-awareness initiative presented to schools and communities to educate on the invisible dangers of opioids, other dangerous drugs, and drug trends and to combat the stigma associated with addiction. The Silent No More team is comprised of experts in law enforcement, prosecution, medicine, mental health, and families who have lost loved ones to overdose, and those in recovery who have turned their lives around and, in the process, are helping others and save lives. They make CSO Proud!
